Welcome to the
Sunbury Community Festival 2009, this is its 33rd year.
The
Sunbury Community Festival is an annual 2 day local event which is well
supported by our local traders, businesses and residents along with other
communities within our region.
With approximately 30,000 people having attended last Festival, we will again
offer great attractions on our Main Stage and Dance Floor - live
local bands performing great music from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, fire
dancers, roving entertainers, Kids Entertainment - TV performers,
Sunbury Idol and Sunbury Has Talent (Open Mike Night) talent shows,
Youth Stage, Amusement rides and Carnival games, Grand Street Parade,
show bags, Rock n Roll and Motor Show and over 50 quality stalls. This
year also sees the introduction of our “Paws on Lawns” on the Sunday
morning.
Our
International Food Court offers a wide variety of gourmet foods and
drinks from all around the world. Come sit down under our Shade and Shelter
Pavilion and enjoy everything the Sunbury Community Festival has on offer.

are, as always, held on the third weekend in March:

Once again we have come up with a theme we feel will bring our community
together in a fun way: 2009 is the International Year of Astronomy; in keeping
with the heavens and planets above, the 2009 Festival theme is:
